ellipsis, I think the "real trick" of revealing this series to your dull minded friends would not be very much of an asset to the fans of this series. Good for you for suggesting ambivalence over ambiguity, perhaps create a web series of your own in which you can creatively explore your cliche "time-terrorist" angle, I'm sure that will work well for you. I figured it out after the first ep, you Primer/Donnie Darko fans. Why reveal the enabling tech so early on? The magic item should be less overt, revealed to be "odd/magic" no earlier than halfway so people are already invested in the characters. You've created ambiguity when it should have been ambivalence (ie - creating two possible solutions of equal weight then oscillating storytelling to favor one or the other until climax). Are you doing so? Maybe, I'll keep watching, but the trick is to get me to tell someone else about it.
I would've focused on the time-terrorist angle. im in ur time, killing all ur doodz. |
